No apparent signal loss. Works as advertised. I used it to connect an Apple Airport router to my receiver.
Besides, that's what the volume on the amp or receiver is for. The sound is a bit low, but what do you expect from a 6 foot RCA adapter-they're not exactly thin headphone cables. Compared to cables supposidly made for iPods but does the same exact thing these cables do at double the price, these cables are a very good buy. The sound is a bit low though, but that's what the volume on my amp is for. I mean, how much power is your iPod pushing just with its batteries anyway.
This is the best mp3 cable I ever brought. Sound is awesome.Con: None really might have to grind a little off the rubber outer coat if using it on a Laptop or PC. I had to shave an tiny bit off the top off of the input jack shell so I could plug it in my laptop the rubber cases was too thick. Mich better then to light cheap-o-crap cables you can get off Ebay, Radio Shack.Pro: Nice and thick, Not cheaply made will last longer then the mp3 rca cables you can get off Ebay or from Radio Shack.
Monster Cable Standard THX I-MINI - Audio cable - RCA (M) - mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm (M) - 8 ft - shieldedDecent cables, but you are definitely paying extra for the Monster name.
nice to finally find a solid cable that will hold up for more than a few months of use. very solid and is longer than most so it allows for wider speaker separation.
